Throughout my career I have had the good fortune to work on many interesting and varied projects. Each time I take on a job it’s like receiving a gift – I never know quite what it will be and it’s always new and exciting.
A number of years ago I had the chance to do some work for a family who had hoped to have a Bat Mitzvah in Israel. Since the trip wasn’t going to be possible I brought Israel to them in a 12’x 6’ Mural of Jerusalem. Seeing this mural hung and watching the family celebrate their daughters’ Bat Mitzvah in front of it was a very emotional experience.
Designing a logo and painting a Mural for an Optical store was a wonderful opportunity. Although I am not a graphic artist it was great fun to try something commerical. I have also had the chance to explore the more commercial side of art when designing invitations.
Another type of work that is always exciting is designing handpainted Centerpieces for parties.
Each one is unique and I really get a chance to push my creativity to the limit.
Be it wall murals, centerpieces, invitations or furniture I rarely turn down a challenge. I love having the opportunity to create new pieces of art and work on such a wide variety of projects.
